Bright, airy and elegant
As you might expect with such a skilled head chef as Chris Staines at its helm, Allium Brasserie is all about the food. With a lively, ever-changing and internationally influenced menu, it's fast become one of Bath's most well-regarded restaurants. “We're big on flavour and on quality,” says Chris, “but I also want Allium to be fun, exciting and approachable too.”
Chris Staines has an exceptional reputation in the industry. He was Head Chef at Foliage, Mandarin Oriental, London where he held a Michelin star for seven years and, before that, he was Chef de Cuisine at Marco Pierre White's The Oak Room, which held three Michelin stars.
There's no restaurant – and no kitchen – in Bath quite like Allium. Come with us for a look behind the curtain as Chris Staines and his team conjure up some of the most inventive, exciting dishes in Bath – then enjoy the front-of-house experience, as those very creations end up on your plate…
The inimitable Jean Trimbach is back at Allium by popular demand
